We are happy to help you with any problem under the sun but we need to allow enough time to do so.
Our standard appointments are 10 - 15 minutes and are intended to allow us to deal with 1 or 2 medical issues.
It takes roughly 5-15 minutes to safely diagnose and treat a single problem, depending on many factors. To safely diagnose and manage 4 medical issues for one patient could take 40 minutes. With this in mind, we ask that you focus on your most urgent problem or to consider booking a longer appointment if you have multiple or complex problems to avoid causing delays to patients who are booked in after you.
If you have more than one issue to discuss, please mention this at the beginning of your consultation,
Your GP will decide with you which problem(s) can be addressed safely today and which problem should be prioritised.
Please don't be offended if you mention new issues at the end of your consultation and are asked to return another day to have them safely assessed.
Some days it may be possible to offer you an extended consultation (at a higher cost) but if we are fully booked we will offer a return appointment instead.
Getting your diagnosis and management plan correct is a priority for us (and for you) but doing this properly takes time.
Our standard appointment costs €60.00. If bloods are required, the cost is €80.00
Our extended appointment duration is 20 - 30 minutes and is intended to allow enough time to deal with multiple/complex medical issues OR to take a full medical history from first-time patients. This costs €80.00. If bloods are required, the cost is €100.00
Extended appointments are not covered by the Medical Card (GMS) scheme.

Please note that some medical conditions *ALWAYS* require a longer appointment.

If you are unsure if you require a longer consultatation, please ask one of our front desk staff when booking.
If you need a longer appointment you can agree this with reception when booking or by reply to this email.
As we operate under strict time constraints we cannot accomodate requests for more time on the day of your appointment.
We also need to know in advance if you require any of the following services:
All Fertility related consultations including AMH Testing must be booked in advance with our Fertility Clinic.
These specialist services require longer appointments and possibly courier collections and cannot be requested during a standard consult.

We know that you will be on time for your appointment......however, we also know that sometimes delays happen and are unavoidable. All we ask is that you phone and let us know if you find that you are running late.
We will always do our very best to get you seen but it may not always be possible. In this case we will have to you to re-schedule your appointment for another time/day.

You can now register your positive antigen test with the HSE and also inform them of any close contacts you may have had.
We assume this will allow you to request a recovery cert in the future but not certain of this as yet..

We have opened our Flu Vaccination clinics and are taking bookings. Most of these clinics will be walk-in and while we won't have a clinic every day we have plenty of space for everyone.
We will be starting to give the Nasal Flu vaccine to 2-17 year olds from this week too.
Get vaccinated, get your kids vaccinated.

It is now possible to manage the details which appear on your Covid vaccination cert online via the HSE portal.
You can request a change of details, ask for your cert to be reissued or check on the status of your certificate if you have yet to receive yours.
This should be much faster than dialing the helpline.
